THE DIXIE CANNONBALLS
are a five-piece hard-driving bluegrass band. We play a mix of classic country and traditional bluegrass in the style of Bill Monroe/Stanley Brothers. The instrumentation includes acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and stand-up bass. The group has been together for seven years and features soulful vocals, tight harmonies, and hot instrumental numbers. The Dixie Cannonballs can be seen at various local venues in the Washington, D.C./Baltimore/Northern Virginia area and are also available for private engagements.

Featuring background noise from the motorcycles of Rolling Thunder, some feedback (sorry), and guest performances by Karen Taylor and "Banjer Dan" Mazer. Cold Hard Cash is a hard-rockin' honky tonk power trio featuring Rob Petrie's spot-on recreations of Johnny Cash's distinctive vocal style, along with a plethora of country classics from Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, George Jones and more.
